2B1ask1

How do I Become a Freemason..?

The way to join is quite simply to ask ! You can leave us your details by clicking here and someone will get in touch with you.

You may have seen this 2B1ASK1 written somewhere, it does literally mean "To Be One, Ask One".

But who do I ask? ..... the obvious answer would be a Freemason!

So where do you find one? Probably your own town or village has a lodge. However one of the great avantages of the internet is it is easy to find out.

Try a Google search and see what you can find or look here to see all the Scottish Lodges listed by Geographical area.

But you do have to ask, we are not allowed to actively seek out or recruit members.

The criteria aren't strict, but they do exist......

You must be male - no women can become freemasons.
You must be at least 21 years of age. (Unless you are the son of a Freemason).
Be of sound character and judgement.
Have a firm belief in a Supreme Being.
NB: This does not necessarily mean the Christian God (another common mistake), people from all religions are welcome, and you will at no time be asked to do, say, or partake in anything that in anyway goes against your faith.

If you are still interested and want to know more you can contact us through this website.
